Job Summary
The focus of this position is to drive life insurance sales in the bank partner branches assigned to them and to execute the client’s bancassurance strategy and responsibilities i.e. marketing campaigns, training, sales support, activity management, etc.

Job Description/Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Driving new business life insurance sales through bancassurance partners who are under their jurisdiction
• Acting on leads received from the personal bankers and branch manager of the bancassurance partner
• Activity management of bank sales teams to ensure lead generation and closure as per specified targets.
• Providing support to bank staff through prospecting and presenting.
• Production management daily concentrating on quality and quantity.
• Coordinate training and development of the bank sales teams.
• Signing off on all new business received from bank partners and ensuring business is underwritten.
• Assisting with premium collection.
• Ensuring that the sales comply with the company’s standards, policies and procedures.
• Assisting in designing and implementing appropriate sales promotions, competitions and incentive schemes
• Ensuring that all partner branches under him/her meet the performance objectives set out in the company’s sales budget
• Resolving and/or redirecting customer queries and complaints promptly and satisfactorily
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Academic Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Insurance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualifications
• Certificate in Insurance from AIIK / ACII or its equivalent from a recognized institution
• Should be IRA licenced.
Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience.
