Job Summary
The County Government of Bomet through the County Public Service Board wishes to fill the above vacant position in Health Services Department.
Minimum Qualification:Diploma

Job Description/Requirements
- Community Health Assistant- CPSB 12/11 (11 Posts)
(a) Responsibilities
In liaison with the Public health officers and/or Technician; the officer will: –
i. Mobilize and create awareness on health issues in the communities
ii. Identify health hazards, and advise the communities accordingly
iii. Ensure proper waste management in respective communities
iv. Enhance best health and nutritional practices at the household levels
v. Identify contravention of public health laws, policies and regulations and report to relevant authorities for appropriate action
vi. Participate in all community health integrated programs as assigned
(b) Requirements
i. Certificate/Diploma in health or health related field from a recognized institution
ii. Two years’ relevant experience
iii. Membership to a relevant regulatory body

Salaries, Remuneration and Allowances:
Salary and allowances for all the positions is as prescribed by Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)
