In a view to further improve our service delivery, Gatanga Water invites applications from highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
Revenue Officers
Job Title: Revenue Officer (2No.)
Department: Commercial
Reports to: Revenue supervisor
Overall, Purpose of the Job
Mobilization and recovery of arrears within assigned areas.
Key Main Job Responsibilities
• Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their outstanding payments.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans in liaison with your supervisor
• Keep track of assigned accounts
• Disconnect accounts when negotiation fails.
• Handle customer’s complains
• Update account status and database regularly
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specification
• Certificate in Water Engineering/Business management.
• Excellent communication and People skills.
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Able to ride a motorbike
• Experience in debt collection will be an added advantage
