VACANCIES IN THE COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE

22. Economist I J.G CPSB 09 ‘K’
    Positions: – 1
    Terms of Service: – Permanent and Pensionable

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Providing economic/statistical planning data;
2. Preparation and submission of periodic reports on specific assignments in the sector;
3. Identification, design and formulation of development projects and programmes in the County;
4. Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of development projects and programmes;
5. Conducting feasibility studies and surveys to determine projects viability;
6. Conducting Budget preparation process for the County Government;
7. Monitoring Budget implementation process for the various County Government Sectors/ Spending Units;

Requirements for Appointment

1. Must be a Kenyan Citizen
2. Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Statistics/ Operations Research or its equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya;
3. Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
4. Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution

1. Tax compliance certificates
2. Clearance from HELB where necessary
3. Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
4. Clearance from the CRB.
5. Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
