Job Summary
OpenTech Global Services Ltd seeks a Software Support Engineer to provide technical support to clients for our software applications

Job Description/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science or in any related course
2. At least one (1) year experience in software support
3. Working experience supporting financial solutions will be an added advantage

General Skills

3. Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
4. Ability to quickly grasp and understand new tasks and ideas.
5. A desire to make things more efficient – we are looking for someone who enjoys initiating change.
6. Excellent follow-through with minimal supervision.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Good understanding and working experience of banking / lending related solutions is an added advantage

Technical Skills and Experience

1. Good understanding and experience working with REST APIs
2. Demonstrated SQL programming preferably Microsoft SQL Server and reports creation skills are highly desirable.
3. Solid experience in creating views, functions and stored procedures.
4. Ability to create optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
5. Experience with virtual cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS or Google Cloud)
6. Good formal documentation skills
7. Demonstrated investigative and problem solving skills
