VACANCIES IN THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND SANITATION

11. Assistant Public Health Officer III J.G CPSB 11 ‘H’

Positions: – 3

Terms of Service: – Permanent & Pensionable

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Mobilizing, sensitizing, and advising communities on matters related to environmental health.
2. Referring health cases to relevant health facilities
3. Carrying out immunization
4. Identifying environmental health related issues at community level
5. Organizing community health days to advise communities on common public
6. Assessing health needs of the community
7. Implementing vector, vermin and rodent control measures and
8. Implementing integrated mosquito control strategies

Requirements for Appointment

1. Must be a Kenyan Citizen
2. Diploma in either Environmental Health Science or Public Health Inspection from a recognized institution
3. Registration by the relevant professional body.
4. Computer application certificate

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants are expected to present the following additional documents during interviews for purpose of complying with the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution

1. Tax compliance certificates
2. Clearance from HELB where necessary
3. Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
4. Clearance from the CRB.
5. Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
