We are hereby inviting qualified citizens of Kenya to be part of our team for the Human Resource Training Officer position. Position: Human Resource Training Officer – 01 Post based in Head Office Nairobi.
Duties and responsibilities
• Participate in planning and design of curriculum.
• Conduct trainings as per designed curriculum
• Prepare and compile training materials required for courses and organize for printing and of the same.
• Keep track of all the tasks/inputs required for company course delivery in line with budget provided.
• Follow up on communication with partners and hosts once an event is confirmed.
• Liaise with course coordinators from training institutions to get the course material, update it with the required details and any other relevant information.
• Follow up with participants on their pre-course work and deadlines.
• Coordinate with trainers on requirements for the courses.
• Conduct research for materials and content required for courses including videos
• Organize for field trips when required.
• Design and analyze respective course feedback and evaluations,
• Provide corrective feedback to training partners, and give feedback to Management on training.
• Attend to the post course follow up as per checklist.
• Follow up on payments for training consultants and partners.
• Coordinate together with other Training Officers for training schedules and training material.
Education, knowledge and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other related social science discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in HR development and capacity building field of which 3 or more years of experience in training in either public or private sector organizations.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of learning systems.
• Experience in managing the development and deployment of training courses and systems desirable.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of training measurement and assessment/evaluation techniques.
• Excellent planning and facilitation skills.

• The position will require frequent travel across the country wherever there is related work. This will require a high level of flexibility for the suitable candidate.
