Job Description/Requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION – HR COORDINATOR

Your role shall mainly entail offering human resource services in the HR functions of Recruitment, Training, Performance Management and Staff Engagement, and general support in for the other HR functions. Your key duties and responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:

Key responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing

● Receive and maintain a database of job applications by sorting them per positions, source applications from recruitment companies, and or advertising as may be agreed. Manage the applicant tracking system

● Enforce compliance with recruitment procedures

● Capture and maintain interview notes and reports in required templates and provide interview feedback to candidates as appropriate and timely

● Execute due diligence on selected candidates, in particular contact minimum 2 previous employers of a candidate, and another minimum 2 personal referees

● Contact respective education institution to certify the authenticity of college/university education testimonials provided by selected candidate as part of due diligence

● Create personal files for new employees

● Create induction programs for onboarding of new candidates as appropriate

● Support and advise on staff retention plans

● Any other duties that may be assigned within this function

Training

● Liaise with heads of departments to identify training needs

● Liaise with training providers to create training content, training plans and coordinate the same across the business

● Conduct training impact assessments as appropriate and support training follow up initiatives e.g. coaching, secondment, etc

● Maintain the Training Calendar and collate all training attendance records in required format, and maintain requisite reports

● Follow up with NITA on training reimbursement requests where applicable

● Support & drive learning on other training platforms as may be required, e.g. online platforms

● Any other duties that may be assigned within this function

Performance Management

● Develop and enforce compliance with performance management procedures and schedules

● Coordinate the Company performance management calendar in liaison with heads of departments

● Ensure alignment and compliance with the law on performance management processes and conversations

● Collate and communicate performance management actions to individual staff, and participate in performance management outcomes e.g. bonus payouts and other performance rewards, promotions, PIPs etc

● Support the development of an effective talent management structure

● Participate in HR audits and HR metrics reporting

● Any other duties that may be assigned within this function

Engagement

● Coordinate any staff engagement programs and handle related communications

● Support in coordinating any company staff engagement surveys when held and in organizing feedback sessions with teams as needful

● Take lead role in coordinating the staff engagement meetings and in preparation of staff awards information and related details, including making needful presentations at the meetings

● Any other duties that may be assigned within this function

Other deliverables

● Support other end-to-end HR functions of Employee Relations, HR administration as may be required.

Skills & Experience

● Proven success in a similar role

● Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HR generalist, with 3 years being in the training and performance management functions

● Bachelors degree in HR

● Must have CHRP

● Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

● Strong Analytical Skills

● Ability to interact with the business at all levels

● Accuracy and attention to detail

● Good Presentation skills

● Problem Solver

● Ability to work unsupervised
