JOB GRADE: ASSOCIATE 2
BASIC SALARY: KES 56,000 TO KES 65,000 (Based on experience)

DESCRIPTION
The business development executive will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management and will be required to develop a deep understanding of products and services as well as our project implementation process. Through design and solution-based engagement, they will provide prospective customers with fitting solutions. They will be charged with leading the acquisition of new partners and taking ownership of generating new revenue streams in membership and professional organizations, NGOs, Manufacturing and Trade, Healthcare, Public Sector, Assets & Leasing manager, and Agriculture and Production. They are expected to be self-motivated and organized, enduring and energetic, a well-spoken communicator, and able to refine written proposals, as well as be creative solution providers.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Building business relationships with new and potential clients by Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities
▪ Have a great technical understanding of B2B sales and work with management to streamline and improve efficient sales strategies
▪ Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
▪ Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
▪ Work with the product teams to prepare and deliver convincing pitches and presentations to potential new clients
▪ Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, and relevant conferences
▪ Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
▪ Help project and finance teams with account management activity, this will involve helping with collections, managing customer service escalations, and providing excellent customer service experiences.
▪ Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow-up as well as developing rapport with key decision-makers
▪ Participate in regular meetings with the platform team to review sales performance and come up with the necessary adjustments.
▪ Practice exacting goal setting, planning, pipeline management, and forecasting capabilities through usage of CRM platform and related tools managing accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to our best practices, policies, and procedures
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
▪ Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
▪ 2+ Years of business development experience selling technological services.
▪ Have intuition and a high understanding of people
▪ Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
▪ Professional yet affable disposition.
▪ Be approachable, professional, and well-groomed.
▪ Translate strategy into action and drives tenaciously and innovatively for outstanding results.
▪ Great networking skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
▪ Curious with an ability to acquire and apply new knowledge, be resourceful
