- JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for managing data to support the execution of a successful Go-to-Market plan, sales action planning, reporting & monitoring in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.
- KEY DIMENSIONS: Sales volume turnover.
Sales projects execution
Sales & Marketing activities evaluation. - KEY RESULT AREAS: Identifies and provides the market information required by the business. This could mean creating and/or populating information dashboards with the right data at regular intervals.
Provides category and brand performance measurement and competitor reviews.
Assesses and diagnoses issues with category/brand performance and recommends remedial action.
Ensures that all market information provided is accurate, timely, insightful, and actionable.
Independently checks the impact of marketing activity (ROI analysis) and advises the marketing and sales teams effectively.
Translates research into business decisions by providing actionable insights.
Influences market strategies by providing insights through a wide variety of data sources.
Work with Sales Management and Marketing to develop and implement a ‘Go-to-Market’ plan through understanding market situations, competitive environment, and channel structure dynamics.
Assess requests for special pricing/promotions, check the completeness of data, and reasonableness of the request, and approve, decline, or escalate as appropriate.
Track and report any gaps in achievement vs. target and provide proposals to close the gap. Once approved, support the implementation of the actions.
Support the Key Account Managers & Area Sales Managers in JBP origination and formal business reviews through proper data review.
Sales budget origination, demand planning & forecasting.
Provide comprehensive business review and support to Heads of Sales in the development of annual Business Plans (BP), and quarterly BP reviews.
Actively and regularly engage with the Sales Department to ensure that the situation of the company is represented and understood by management (e.g. Market / Competition commercial situation, Channel requirements, etc.)
Timely sales issues resolution and follow-up to ensure necessary countermeasures are taken. - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A University Graduate in a business-related field.
Computer literate with an extensive working knowledge of SAP SE, Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and other MS office applications.
4 years of work experience in an FMCG environment, with a track record of data analysis and business reporting.

Great interest in the understanding of project management techniques - COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Sales & Marketing team.
