ICAP of Columbia University (registered in Kenya as Center for International Programs-Kenya) is working in partnership with the Ministry of Health to strengthen Public Health Initiatives in Kenya.
Applications are invited for the following fixed term position:
JOB TITLE: Global Fund Technical Advisor (2 positions)
LOCATION: Kenya
Overall job function:
To provide technical support for the Global Fund project through the MoH. The Global Fund Project Advisors will respond to fill program gaps has they are identified by MoH and CDC.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for the planning, initiation and implementation of HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Program including TB/HIV integration activities
• Provide technical support for IPC within HIV clinics
• Promote COVID-19 vaccination for PLHIV
• Provide technical advice for testing and treatment of COVID-19 within HIV clinics
• Provide technical assistance for dual screening for COVID-19 and TB
• Liaise with county partners, donors and other stakeholders in the implementation of the Global Fund program
Requirements:
• University degree in public health
• At least 5 years’ experience in working with the MoH and providing technical assistance
• Preference will be given to those with medical background.
