Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or a similar leadership role in a large-scale organization, preferably a reputable internationally affiliated law firm;
• strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure (with an emphasis on legal and accounting software), including Microsoft 365;
• excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage cross-functional teams;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
• strong project management skills and experience leading large-scale technology projects; and
• experience working in a global organization and managing technology operations across multiple locations will be an added advantage.
Role and Responsibilities:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems across our company network. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading IT teams, delivering technology solutions, and driving innovation. A key requirement shall be sufficient knowledge and experience dealing with legal and accounting software.
• develop and implement IT strategies and policies to align with business objectives and ensure optimal performance of technology systems;
• manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department and lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions;
• oversee the development and implementation of security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure data privacy.
• ensure that technology systems and infrastructure are scalable, reliable, and capable of meeting the organisation growing needs;
• foster relationships with key stakeholders which will include our international offices, including business leaders, vendors, and IT staff, to ensure technology initiatives align with business goals;
• develop and manage the IT budget (working with the Partner in charge of the IT Committee) and ensure that resources are effectively utilized to deliver maximum value to the organisation; and
• stay up to date on the latest technology trends and innovations to make recommendations on how to leverage them to drive business growth.
