Job Summary
Our client, a dynamins Floriculture company based in Nanyuki is seeking to recruit an IT Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all IT related aspects of their Farms in Kenya and Ethiopia. The ideal candidates Must strong Technical Skills, Good in Budgeting and System Roll-out.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Requirements:
• Creation of our new IT platform.
• Reassess and redefine the organization-wide standards in hardware, software, network and other IT services.
• Support of new IT initiatives and guidance on development/implementation.
• Secured infrastructure (securing internet (bandwidth)).
• IT/ Data security.
• Advisory and adoption of new technology.
• Set up Support Team per farm as well as guiding/managing the teams.
• Organise internal training (programme) on IT.
Qualifications
• Strong leadership ability (directing & supporting).
• Strategic IT mindset and business acumen.
• Self-starting and self-managing in order to build up the IT domain for the organisation.
• An effective communicator at all levels, cultures and languages.
• Develops systems that fit our needs and safeguards the IT strategy.
• Excellent ability to interlink business processes from an IT perspective.
• Identify problematic IT areas and implement strategic solutions.
• Open to adopt and adapt to the company culture.
• Proven affinity with IT in international business.
• Ability to develop and design IT solutions that provide responsive, flexible and innovative IT services.
• Ability to translate business requirements and objectives into technical applications and solutions.
• Experience in database maintenance, backup and recovery.
• Experience in monthly and annual reports on all IT activities and projects.
Monthly Gross salary: 450 – 700,000/= depending on experience and qualifications.
