Job Description/Requirements
Jambo Credit limited is a credit only business registered in November 2018. Our primary objective is to support individuals and businesses through our loan and cash advance facilities. Our products are crafted to assist businesses fill arising gaps ranging from stocking to other short term business needs.
Responsibilities
● Promote and sell company’s loan products to potential clients.
● Expand market awareness by communicating features and benefits of the products and services effectively.
● Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and outsourcing partners.
● Identify sales prospects’ and follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
● Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in analysis of competitors, and statistics.
● Reviewing sales performance on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis; with the aim of meeting or exceeding targets.
● Maintain thorough knowledge of company’s products and services.
● Prepare forecasts, sales budgets and reports including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
● Generate business through sales promotion: i.e. sales pitching/calls on potential customers.
● Prioritize the work and prepare a tender schedule for marketing purposes
● Ensure quality control in all correspondences, quotations, tenders, LPOs
● Conversion of quotations to LP0’s
● Submitting tenders on project opportunities and complete tender process.
Qualifications
● A university degree holder in business related course from a recognized University in Kenya.
● Must possess a minimum of 1 year’ sales experience in the microfinance lending market
● Possess excellent sales and negotiating skills.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills.
● Must have a keen understanding of business and developing market segments.
● Self-starter; motivated, team focused, attention to detail and results driven.
● Good organizational skills and ability to schedule and manage their own workload.
● A pleasant personality, presentable with good interpersonal skills.
● Vibrant and able to meet targets given to them.
● Ability to work under pressure and independently
● Experience in corporate sales, transaction financing and salary based loans is a plus.
● Candidates with Human resource and procurement background coupled with strong sales skills are encouraged to apply.
