COMMERCIAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Based in Mombasa-MCT and reporting to the General Manager- Mombasa Container Terminal Kenya Limited, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: –
• Implement sales and customer relations strategies and grow the market share.
• Analyze the market potential and develop strategies for achieving the sales targets.
• Prospect for new business to grow market share and income.
• Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
• Keep abreast of issues affecting the market and conduct market intelligence to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensure clients receive exceptional levels of service in order to promote client retention.
• Preparing sales letters/communications to clients, including presentations and quotations, outlining detailed MCT offers to the customers.
• Maintain reports on new customers brought on board/ volumes and ensure daily status reports are sent.
• Address customer queries and complaints effectively.
