Job Requirements
i. Bachelors of laws (LLB) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
ii. Admission to the bars as an advocate of the high court of Kenya.
iii. A postgraduate diploma in law from the Kenya school of law.
iv. Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
v. Membership with the law society of Kenya of good standing.
vi. Proficiency in computer applications.
vii. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance.
Job Description
i. Draft legal advice to county sectors.
ii. Implement legal and governance compliance reviews.
iii. Representing the county Executive in court.
iv. Interpreting legislation, regulations, rules and guidelines.
v. Initiate negotiations, arbitration and court cases reviews.
vi. Drafting legal correspondences.
vii. Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
