Job Summary
Our client, a registered company in Kenya that deals with selling and after sales service of IT Products is looking to hire a competent Procurement Assistant.
Minimum Qualification:Diploma
Experience Level:Mid level

Job Description/Requirements
Salary: 25-30k
Deadline: 9th January, 2023
Location: Nairobi branch
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Preparing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
• Help in resolving customer issues related to the supply of the goods.
• Keeping records of orders placed and shipments received, updating inventory levels based on these records.
• Passing of ETR serial numbers to the customers and maintaining a good dataset for the same.
• Coordinating with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment.
• Communicating with customers about order status, answering questions about products and services, and resolving issues.
• Prepare documentation of products to be supplied to retail outlets.
• Perform physical stocks checks in a warehouse or store in regular basis.
• Check and examine the quality of goods before arranging for dispatches though supply chain.
• Ensure the stocks are supplied and delivered in time within the set timelines
• Check, inspect and goods returned by customers in the retail stores.
• Implement best standards and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations regarding purchasing procedures and best practices.
Key Qualifications
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in procurement and supply management or any purchase & supply relates courses.
• Professional procurement certification i.e CIPS, CPSM, CSCP.
• Accountancy background is an added advantage-CPA or Accounting related course and work experience.
• Above 3 years Work experience in a fast paced environment.
