Rate: £300 – £350 per day depending on experience

Hours: 2 – 3 days per week, Monday to Friday

The objectives:
Malaria No More UK is looking for an experienced and exceptional in-house recruitment consultant to join us for 3 – 6 months to assist the Head of Operations in a recruitment drive we are having from now – having just secured the additional funding from some of our philanthropic partners.
The consultant will be based in the Operations Team but will also work directly with the individual recruiting managers and Directors based both in the UK and in Kenya for various roles at a variety of levels over the next few months.
This is an exciting, demanding, and challenging consultancy opportunity, and will suit an individual who has a practical, capable, hands-on approach that can be applied across the breadth of all recruitment processes from initial resource requirement notification to final offer stage. They will have great communications skills to enable them to manage a multitude of internal stakeholder requirements across teams.
The responsibilities:
• Managing the recruitment process for various roles from inception to final offer.
• Assisting recruiting managers with timelines, job descriptions, ad hoc recruitment admin as advised by the Head of Operations.
• Creating the final Job Packs to be advertised.
• Placing the job adverts on various job boards or with agencies as instructed by the Head of Operations or recruiting managers.
• Monitoring all applications, long listing and sending on those that may be suitable for shortlisting to the managers. Being the initial point of contact for any queries from candidates.
• Scheduling interviews (both first and second) and times with the managers and candidates, administering any pre or post testing or tasks as required. Booking Teams calls or meeting rooms as required. Booking ‘meet the team’ sessions where requested.
• Assist the Head of Operation with post-Offer recruiting admin eg reference checking, right to work in the UK and ID checking.
Skills and experience
Essential
• Good experience of in-house recruitment processes.
• Strong multi-tasking and flexibility skills
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence, negotiate and manage conflicting priorities across multiple stakeholders in a culturally diverse setting.
• Excellent ability to work efficiently, prioritise, and deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Exceptional writing skills, able to record information accurately and create attractive job descriptions.
• Ability to think creatively in their approach to problem solving.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
Desirable
• Knowledge of international development and global health issues especially malaria.
• Previous recruitment consulting within the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous
